This is one of the best article I've read in a long time about overwhelming clutter can affect our mental health. A must read!
I personally have been struggling releasing mostly papers - due to Executive Functioning Disorder (EFD) on top of Irlen Syndrome (where words on paper or screen becomes distorted) - it literally shuts down my brain. However, non-paper items are usually easier for me to let go. But since living in a tiny studio apartment has been very challenging as people give/gift me more stuff, more knick knacks that I don't need, working remotely has me using more computers and devices with wires everywhere, and art supplies has completely taken over.

Feeling overwhelmed, this article was exactly what I need to get motivated again as it lists helpful strategies in recognizing what different types of clutter can affect us with specific influences.

May we use the winter season a time to declutter, organize and enhance our homes spacious, clean, and effective to help us to feel relaxed, comfortable, and in some places productive. Our internalized states is often reflected in our own environment. Taking even just half-hour a day keep in mind to be grateful and relish in being mindful in this meditative physical act of decluttering to improve your life on multiple levels.
